Our restoration process may include any of the following:

GRINDING: A 1 to 3 step “wet grind” process using metal bond diamonds to remove lippage (uneven stone edges as result of a poor installation) resulting in a “flat” lippage free floor. The number of required steps can differ depending on the severity of lippage or the type or hardness of your stone.

HONING: A 3 step “wet grind “ process using the finest quality resin bond diamonds (120- 400 grit) to remove deep scratches and etching from acidic spills. This process will leave your stone with a uniform, satin smooth, slip-resistant finish.

POLISHING: A 3 step “wet” process using the finest resin bond diamonds (800-3500 grit) or a combination of resin bond diamond and the highest quality polishing powders available to produce deep clarity and a high shine to your stone's surface. We will NEVER use any crystallization chemicals or waxes to polish your stone!!!!

CLEANING: We will clean your marble, granite, limestone, travertine and other stone with the finest Natural Stone safe cleaners. This will remove dirt and contaminants from your Stone and Tile floors, showers, countertops, etc.

Please note that many customers may call us for marble or travertine cleaning, but what they actually need is a complete marble polishing. Etching and scratches may have damaged the surface making it look dull and dirty.

SEALING: We will seal your Natural Stone with the best quality solvent based sealers to help safeguard your investment for years to come. All natural stone -- marble, granite, limestone, travertine -- is to some extent porous. Some stones are more porous. We will use the best quality sealers to seal your countertops, floors, walls, etc.

REPAIRS: We can repair spalling, cracks or chips using state of the art epoxies, polyesters, or cementatious fillers. We can also replace damaged stones and do custom “on site” fabrication. We can also remove etching and scratches.

STAIN REMOVAL: We can remove most stains using expert techniques.

ETCH REMOVAL: We can remove etching -- those dull whitish areas -- on your Marble or Travertine caused by acidic spills or improper cleaning chemicals. Etching on marble and other calcite based stones is often mistakenly thought to be water marks or water rings.
